1. I'd love to participate in this conference.

I've been waiting for something like this. The universal inclusiveness of this event is very appealing to me. This seems to be very similar to my own personal vision of how a progressive collective women's equality movement can best achieve our overall goals in the least amount of time. I believe that it would be an uplifting, enlightening, and really fun experience to commune with a body of sisters (and brothers - wow) who share a similar vision.

The theme for this ground breaking experience is "Collective Empowerment, Collective Liberation"

* Uniting women of color across ethnicity, race, age, citizenship, sexual orientation, disability, body type, faith, discipline, and locality for collective survival.

* Inspiring those working to be allies to aim for collective liberation in challenging racism, classism, sexism, homophobia, heterosexism, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, ageism and other forms of oppression and bias.

The 2012 National Call to Action offers 2-Day Institute (one for Women of Color, one for Men, and one for White Women Aspiring Allies) with joint keynotes throughout, and a 2-Day Conference bringing all groups together for workshops, plenaries, and a Cultural Cabaret and Marketplace.

Now that I'm aware of this, hopefully I can attend next year. I'd go this year if I didn't already have travel plans.

More positive!
