Could she (did she) refuse to perform the surgery after finding the patient already out and in the OR? I would like to think that I would have voted "with my feet" and walked away after such flagrant violations of procedure.

No, I'm not a doctor, and if it was crucial ASAP surgery I'd understand an exception. But complaining about it in a video is going to make zero difference. I would hope the docs could just say "no" and reschedule to try again the next day.
