Internet. For example, this past week the soap opera was streaming exclusive content to a five-part series called "Beyond Salem" on the Peacock network.

One of the advantages of having cable service is that you can DVR shows and watch them later without having to watch ads. The streaming content may have dual tiers for the customer to select from as to whether they want ads. If you are on the lower tier then you cannot skip the ads.

And no, you don't have a TV provider which means that certain content streamed on the Internet may not be available to you such as sport events.
