Take advantage! Thats how your body shuts down to focus on healing you. Your amazing attitude has been there all along - let your body take over when it signals it is ready to get back to the job of healing.

Have you thought about cruising around some recipe sites? I don't like to cook, and had family here after my first surgery and they were chomping at the bit to cook since my appetite was non existent. My mom had me cruise through some site with a gazillion recipes and what caught my eye was panko fried brie with a cayenne pepper, vinegar, raspberry preserve, lemon juice "side kick". I lived on that combo for like a week after they found the gluten free panko and started cooking it up.

Oh, and I should mention - I craved dill pickles like crazy too. My Doc said it was likely being low on potassium (I think) and craving the sodium. Couldn't have cared less why - just glad that I did so much canning last summer and had a garage full of pickle spears.
