Hi! Just checking if anyone here has done doxorubicin chemo? [View all]

The infusion is red so maybe they called it the "Red Devil" when you got it?

I'm about to go on a trio of it, Carboplatin and Avastin (bevacizumab) since my ovarian cancer is back.

I made it almost a full year (11 months) post chemo before it came back. I had a real atrocious time trying to get my prescribed Lynparza (which was my preventative) due to insurance walls I kept running into. It was $25k a month for my prescribed dosage w/o insurance approval so that just wasn't an option. Anyhoo, I guess all those times I was in limbo maybe bit me in the butt? I'm not sure but I am sure my cancer is back as my CA 125 has blown up from my constant 11 to 159 and my PET scan sadly lit up like a glow stick at a rave.

Anyone here ever been on this regime they're starting me on Tuesday? If so, advice or testimonials you'd like to share? I did Docetaxel, Carboplatin and Avastin previously. It truly beat me up badly. I was hoping somone here knew something about the doxil to give me a heads up?
