I have a 1/10 mile track on my property that I try to walk or slow jog 4 or 5 days a week. I average about 6,000 steps a day. 75 years old and it's just what I do. Others have their own routine. What ever you do is great. I have a pacemaker and 3 different Cardiologist have all told me the same thing...KEEP MOVING. I never sit longer than 30 minutes without getting up and moving.
On the other hand, I could get run over by a school bus tomorrow.
