8. I had not touched it in over six years before last Friday.

Tuesday

I had developed hand issues that stopped me from playing it. Those issues did clear up after a few years, but now it just hurts me too much inside to even hold it. All I can think of is how much of my life I wasted trying to pursue a career that was cursed from the start. All of that time and effort based on the fact that everyone said I was good enough. More lies.

There are no more doors for me. I can't even find a peephole to look through anymore.
