6. Territorial Seeds was founded by my favorite gardening author, Steve Solomon

author of Gardening When It Counts, The Intelligent Gardener, and other books. He sold the company a while ago. I would trust them for good germination rates and proper genetics.

I follow Ed Smith's advice and buy seeds from a company in my "region". I shop at Johnnysseeds.com in Maine, Harris Seeds in Rochester, NY, and Stokes Seed in Niagara Falls. Those three stores have germination test results.

The farm market near me has a chili pepper selection by "Kevin Malone the Pepperman". He sells starts and seeds. I used to get his print out of strains. I don't know if he focuses on pure genetics. I just phoned and nobody picked up. I ya really wanna know more, I will pursue it. I might be driving that way later Saturday, I can bang on the door. 440-256-3630 "Rocks"
