We had to put Bilbo down on April 2nd. He was such a big part of our lives and routine. We still have another dog, but it was always the two of them trotting around together. Tomorrow we head to the beach (Oregon coast) for the weekend, and it is going to be so painful not to see the two of them running around together. The first week was so difficult, and I cried at the mention of his name. I am doing better, but reading your post made me cry again. As painful as it is, I am thankful that we had little Bilbo in our lives. I hope that each day becomes less painful for you.
