Ember has a mix of markings, too. Her coat is tortoiseshell tabby (torbie). In some lighting, she looks like a black and gray tabby. In other lighting, the random red streaks in her coat are much more visible.

She has the "bull's eye" swirl on her sides that is called "classic tabby" compared to the straight stripes of a "mackerel tabby." But her swirls are composed of multiple colors (red, black, gray, and white) that look like an abstract painting.

She had huge ears like Arthur's until she was about two years old, when she finally grew into them. They are still slightly large, but nothing like before. Those ears were so big as a kitten that they dwarfed her face.
