My kidcats are such a bunch of gems [View all]
Yesterday afternoon, after I finished doing stuff, I plopped down to work on a jig saw puzzle (on line, of course). I looked up to see I was surrounded by everyone but Carys. They were all just sitting and watching me. I put the puzzle away and they took turns sitting on my lap or right next to me. That went on until bedtime.
I had another really bad night. Went to bed at 11, woke up at 2. Finally gave up and turned on 'Law and Order'. For some reason I find Sam Waterston's voice really relaxes me, even when his character is going off on a righteous rant. I know I fell back to sleep before 4.
But I digress. I was jarred awake by one of those warning tests they run every week. It was 5:55. Normally at about 5:30, Madoc is pulling at the sheets or bopping me on the head. This morning all of the kidcats were sitting in different parts of the room, just watching over me and patiently waiting for me to wake up.
Such sweethearts. They will get extra treats.
