This really captures the nexus of cruelty and corruption at the core of MAGA:

The jet was operated by Journey Aviation, who also participated in the South Sudan, first Eswatini and second Rwanda third-country removals.
Rich people lease their private jets part-time to companies like Journey in order to get a huge tax break from Trumps first term.

It was great working with Zeteos editors and rigorous fact-checker.
And Im most grateful they let me say this in the last graf, something Ive been try to get at with these ICE flights for awhile.
The disparity between the luxurious aircraft and its shackled, vilified passengers must have been quite a sight, but they are not unrelated. Corrupt officials transferring state funds to personal accounts, governments with empty treasuries and desperate citizens, luxury highrises, the criminalization of the unhoused and undocumented, billions spent on political campaign pageantry, aiding genocide from a faraway ballroom and calling it "charity," tax breaks for flying masked agents and nameless prisoners under cover of darkness - all are the spoils of oligarchy.
