5. Kind of reminds me of the 69 Mets

While everybody was watching the Cubs and their big names, The Mets started a season ending hot streak somewhere around August 1st.

They had a phenomenal pitching staff, but outside of Seaver and Koosman they were a bunch of Who?s. But day after day they just put up one win after another. teams and seasons like that are fun to watch before the money and attention ruins them.
