I highly recommend PS+, all you have to do is look at the list of free games they have given away to know it is worth it.

People who have had PS+ since the beginning have been given every single game on the list linked below for free, I don't know how any gamer could possibly look at the list and try to argue that it is not worth $50 a year. PS+ is hands down the best value in console gaming, just follow the link and you will see why.
