42. There is in fact evidence, just a matter of how you weight them

The Bible is not a history book, but it contains historical information. What is actually historical is determined by historical methods with a certain degree of probability. It is more probable that an itinerant preacher named Joshua existed around 30 CE than it is that this preacher was the Son of God. You don't have to care about either question. But they aren't really matters of faith. Unless you make them so.
