In twelve such countries, same-sex relations carry a potential death sentence. These include Iran, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Afghanistan, Mauritania, Yemen, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, and regions in Nigeria and Somalia.

And of course, the Gaza Ministry of Justice enforces an ultra-conservative interpretation of religious law which prescribes arbitrary arrest and institutionalized torture for those suspected of being gay.

Israel's Gay Pride Parade takes place on June 12. Hopefully they will invite Keshet Italia to participate as honored guests.
