I am trying to improve my memory. This has consistently been an area of my life where shortfalls have slowed me down.
I noticed in 2023 that chronological organization ot work-related learning assists recall. But it does take repeated reinforcement, consistent effort and at least somewhat structured work.
Starting Feb 1, 2026, I am going to keep a paper journal, an offline digital journal, a neat webuse record and associate them with my daily work. I have a suspicion that different memory systems reinforce each other and focus and want to test that privately for my own use.
I have been extra distrait in the last 15 years. Cant really pull off chaos. I already use marijuana medically and so I need to compensate in other areas by kicking out any unwanted chaotic accelerations that try to pile on (e.g.: nuisance tech i.e. anything AI, VR/edtech/agents/ other brainless fads etc ). Fads and trends are a modern curse..I try to get by with the smallest amount of connection and personal use tech one can ger away with.
