I knew someone who had become seriously ill when younger through drinking raw milk and getting brucellosis. She spent months in hospital, and was never quite the same again. This used to happen quite a lot in many parts of the world, because of lack of knowledge and poor regulation of agriculture; but why would anyone WANT to risk their own and their children's health in that way?!
