Both for you specifically, and also for everyone carrying the burden of loss. When you feel able, will you join us in the Pets group if you're not already a member? You will find many people there to keep watch with you and honor the memory of your departed friend. I lost my chows over a year ago and sometimes I still break down when I visit their grave in the back yard. Now I have 2 more little furkids, and joining the Pets group has done a lot to help me cope with the loss of the previous ones. Grief seems to come part and parcel with love, yet the cost pales in comparison to the rewards. A heart like yours cannot stop itself from loving again. This is what we were made for.
