Just scrolled through 10 pages of pictures on that site and it's pretty mind blowing. I don't really understand their local issues but the occupiers/demonstrators seem to be normal good folks. And least it seems to have started as a peaceful protest trying to save the park, but the cops cracked down pretty hard trying to evict them from the park.
