Plus, the fact the US women played terribly.
France was physical, and tough, and they played smart defense, to be sure.
But, that defense didn't cause 16 first half turnovers. The US team just played sloppy, overly tight, & stupid ball.
What they needed was a young, fast, versatile ball-handler with passing skills.
You know; like Caitlin Clark
