But there are a couple of important caveats. First, she should start out SLOWLY if she isn't accustomed to cannabis. Second, she will get less stoned over time unless she chooses to increase dosage or to buy more potent strains. I'm currently using a sativa hybrid with 28% THC which, if given to someone with little experience might make them uncomfortable if they're not ready for it. I smoke a bud of that stuff every evening, and I get a slight, pleasant buzz. Everybody I know has stories about the first time they smoked premium Northern California cannabis, myself included. I have put pillows and blankets on the floor for visiting first timers more than once.
