Trump's ICE director Todd Lyons compared his plans for immigrant warehouses to Amazon "Prime, but with human beings," but at least 12 of his planned contracts have been cancelled amid nationwide pushback.
Since creating its ICE Warehouse Purchase Tracker, a group called Project Salt Box has fueled a highly successful campaign of community opposition to these detention centers across the United States.
