4. FREEDOM SCHOOLS during the Civil Rights Era

worked to educate black citizens. These were unofficial groups that gathered to teach people how to register to vote, the know the constitution and their Rights, and how to read.

So few people in America know or understand our history, civics or how to fight back. I wonder if today, groups would educate and motivate other freedom-loving people in how to fight this distopia?

Further, we need to be looking for new and creative ways to educate each other in a world where nearly the entire media and communications infrastructure is owned and controlled by the wealthiest people in this country.
