5. The first trial had 11 for acquit...and one for guilty...and it was on the murder charge from

what I hear and they tried the case again. Officer Proctor was fired eventually. I think she was railroaded too. As soon as she is off probation for the DUI, I hope she leaves the area. I don't think it is safe for her. She had about a thousand supporters waiting for today's verdict. The cops said they couldn't cheer...but cheer the crowd did. And they used the sign language sign for I love you as a way to communicate too. I was very moved...this had gone on for almost four years. I believe she was railroaded by the cops, the DA and maybe the judge in the second trial was in on it.

PS: as a woman I happy to see other women stand up for Karen Reid who was being railroaded by mostly men IMHO. They wanted to pin a crime she didn't commit on her. They were willing to let her rot in jail while one of their own (cop)who actually punched the victim and killed him walked.
