(2,703 posts)you have either purposefully skipped over, or have forgotten about a whole lot of the story.
Israel has offered and even gave up the land, yet the attacks continue. These people don't want their land, they want ALL of the land, and they want Israel destroyed. They will accept nothing less. All one has to do is listen to them actually say over and over that they want Israel destroyed.
I don't just support Israel's right to exist, I support their right to not live in continual fear of the rockets raining down on their cities. And I most especially support their right not not be vaporized by crazed extremists who get their hands on a nuclear weapon to mount to their already existing ballistic missiles. If you think Iran wouldn't use it, then I would question your deduction methods.
Israel is doing now what they should have done years ago. They spent too much time, energy and lives trying to find a solution that doesn't include all-out war. They finally took the gloves off and intend to end this thing, and I applaud them for it. Make no mistake, if Israel wanted to "genocide" (as if continually repeated over and over) any of these states, they would already be gone and Iran would be a sea of glass right now. Frankly, they are being far more gentle and precise in their approach than I would be if someone shot rockets at me.
