Can we also get some love for Green Day? Fighting the good fight for decades, and I guarantee they will not hold back today. Also, they are a local band (SF Bay Area) that I grew up with.
Also, for what it's worth, Go Seahawks!
Edited to add that I watched it live on local NBC TV and I didn't notice, but now I'm reading that networks muted some of the lyrics to American Idiot. Don't know if that's true or not.

Agreed. Billy Jo is famous for holding back. Surely he won't sully this institutional American tradition with protest.

Yes! I loved seeing Green Day at 924 Gilman with Operation Ivy back when they were just a local band.
