WASHINGTON — The U.S. House passed legislation Wednesday that would require the public to produce a passport or birth certificate in most cases to register to vote, less than a year out from November midterm elections.
The 218-213 vote split mostly along party lines, with one Democrat, Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas, breaking with his party to support the measure. One Republican, North Carolina’s Greg Murphy, did not vote.
Republicans argued the bill, dubbed by House Republicans as the “Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act,” or the SAVE America Act, will prevent noncitizens from voting in federal elections, which is already illegal and rare.

This BS law has now turned this country into a fascist Russian State, Authoritarian Communist State system of voting...............hey US Supreme court what do you think.............you still think your wives can vote...... not according to this law unless they show their birth certificate and it both houses of Congress .....................come on do you think the 19th Amendment is full of it.............Hey Supreme Court what do you think of Article 1 Section 4 Clause 1 of the Constitution....is now moot with your Executive Unitarity BS government when you gave a 34 count fraudster immunity and he's been yelling about Nationalizing the elections.........Federalist Society, Judicial Watch, Project 2025 have got there wet dream now............November cannot get here fast enough.......this republic is in trouble...........
