Maybe you've never actually been to a State Fair in the US? For 250 years, I'm pretty sure hibachi rice bowls were represented maybe 2% of the time.

And do you really think there IS a diversity of cuisine at this thing? There isn't even the most basic State Fair food available that people associate it with: cotton candy (yeah, I said food loosely), fresh squeezed lemonade, funnel cakes, outrageous hot dog type things and lots of junk food frozen and other wise.

But there's mall food - hibachi rice bowl. That's more of an insult to ethnic food than cotton candy is to real food.

State Fair is usually live animals, home made pickles and pies and whatever is relevant to a particular state. I can't imagine one state in America wanting Hibachi Express representing their ethnic culture.
