NBC4 learned from court records that the ages of the children are 18, 16, 15, 14, 13, 11, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4 (twins), 2 (twins) and 1.5 years (twins).

Age 15 is below the age of consent anywhere in the U.S. (right? I am not a lawyer but I sure as hell hope that's true).

And depending when into her 15th year ... perhaps the rape occurred when she was 14.

Given that the article at the OP link says

Officials said as the investigation has progressed, they have learned that members of the Siders family have lived in multiple Ohio counties since 2008.

Investigators said they believe the family largely avoided establishing medical and other government records during that time.

... I wonder if they were anti-government, anti-family-planning-of-any-sort types. Yikes. Those poor kids. And I do feel for the mother Elizabeth, who clearly had her childhood stolen from her and probably saw no way out of this mess.
