54. Very early in my peds nurse practitioner career, I found myself thinking...

…that parenthood should require a license. The simple ability to juxtapose genitalia is a woefully inadequate “qualification.”

I became an NP way back in 1976, and have now been retired for 5 years. Stories like this reinforce my long-held opinion.
