In response to your point:
"What Democratic Socialists and Democrats are advocating is firmly grounded in the center of American politics."

But, it occurs to me that I am making an incorrect assumption about who they see as their audience. Problem is, if they are trying to appeal to that group that will think "socialism = good!!" at the time of casting GE ballots in 2026 and 2028 ... I believe they are targeting too small a group. Why deliberately limit your audience this way?
