This claim is as credible as “ivermectin cures COVID.” There is no scientific data to support it. Zero. Nada. What you have are some anecdotal claims by a few ranchers, who may be mismanaging the herd or just having bad luck (avian influenza, water issues, etc.), plus a desire to believe it because we all hate data centers.

We hear this nonsense all the time. Ranchers also claim that their operations are carbon neutral or they benefit wildlife. Some claim that they should be able to kill Bald Eagles or Cara Caras because they “attack and kill newborn animals,” when really all they’re seeing is a scavenger eating a dead animal that wasn’t cared for well enough by its mother.

Don’t spread lies just because they’d be convenient for our narrative.
