2. I can say that from personal experience,

I have been in the practice of walking 3 1/2 to 4 miles four times a week, and had I not done this... I would be losing my mind.
Nothing helps me shake it off more than my daily walk.

I am very fortunate to live near a nature preserve, and it is a 4-mile round-trip door-to-door. Not everyone is that lucky. I understand, but if you can get to a nearby park, DO IT. Even if you just sit on the bench and breathe deeply.
